Welcome to The Writers & Readers Co! By shopping with us, browsing our site, or just admiring our bookmarks from afar, you agree to play by the rules laid out here. Think of these Terms & Conditions as the fine print that keeps everything running smoothly, kind of like a well-structured outline keeping a 500-page manuscript in line.

We may update these terms from time to time (because even fine print deserves a rewrite). By continuing to use the site after updates are posted, you’re agreeing to the new version. You need to be of legal age (or have a responsible adult helping you) to shop here. No funny business, no using our products for anything illegal, and no pretending to be a fictional character to avoid paying.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION + AVAILABILITY

We do our best to keep product descriptions accurate and inventory updated, but sometimes we’re human (shocking, we know). Colors may look slightly different on your screen than they do on physical cardstock, and limited-run items may sell out faster than a highly anticipated sequel on release day.

4. PRICING + PAYMENTS

Prices are listed clearly and may change from time to time (based on supplier printing increases). Payment is due at checkout, and we accept all major forms of plastic... well, except the library cards we encourage you to maximize in your reading journey.

5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Your shipping rate is calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your items:

 

FREE Shipping — Automatically applies to all orders with a subtotal of $35.00 or more!

 

$7.99 — Standard Lightweight Shipping: For small orders of pens or a few bookmarks. Shipped inside a protective rigid or bubble mailer.

$10.99 — Standard Medium Shipping: For heavier bookmark bundles or single journal orders. Shipped inside a rigid mailer or protective bubble envelope.

$14.99 — Heavy Bundle Shipping: For multiple journals or medium mixed bundles. Shipped inside a secure, sturdy box for maximum protection.

$17.99 — Large Bundle Shipping: For expanded orders containing multiple journals, pens, and larger bookmark quantities. Shipped inside a secure, sturdy box.

$21.99 — Maximum Bulk Shipping: Our highest standard shipping rate for the largest mixed orders (including purchasing the full collection of all shop items). Shipped inside a secure, sturdy box.

 

All shipments include full end-to-end milestone tracking.

6. RETURNS + EXCHANGES

Due to the pristine, brand-new nature of our boutique stationery and journals, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Order cancellations are accepted strictly within 24 hours of purchase, provided your order has not already been packed or shipped. If your items arrive with a genuine manufacturing defect, please contact our support team within 14 days of receipt with a photo of the issue so we can issue a replacement.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All of the original bookmark designs, website content, and photos on this site belong to us. Please don’t steal them. It’s not cool, and it’s definitely not budget-friendly when lawyers get involved to defend our copyright.

8. USER COMMENTS + FEEDBACK

We love feedback, design suggestions, and book recommendations (seriously, keep them coming). But if you share ideas with us, we’re free to use them without owing you royalties, free products, or a lifetime supply of coffee.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS
